Customs Software Support Specialist

ACO Informatica/WiseTech Global is looking for experienced custom industry specialists familiar with Italian customs clearance process (import, export, bonded warehouse customs processes) to join our team. Practical experience with dealing with customers, onboarding new customers and supporting existing customers in relation to Italian customs software and customs procedures product is an important attribute of the role.

Logistics / Accounting translator

If you are an experienced technical translator and have previously been involved with localization of logistics software, then we want you to become part of our global Translation Team!
For logistics technical translators, we are looking specifically for a logistics professional that has technical translation experience, or a professional translator with experience translating logistics or accounting software. You will mostly be involved in translating and reviewing scripts for our eLearning videos, but also reviewing the final Italian videos before they are published. The videos will be used to train our users to use CargoWise One software in Italian. In addition, from month to month you will be required to translate additional content added to the software, ensuring we maintain a complete Italian version of CargoWise One and its supporting products. You must have previously worked within a freight forwarding or other logistics type company (such as road transport), Accounting and technical experience translating logistics software is preferred, since it will be beneficial for this role.
It is preferred that you have existing knowledge of CargoWise One, but not essential.

Terminology accuracy is important to convey the right meaning to the users of our software. At WiseTech Global we use translation software GlobalLink and MultiTerm, together with supporting add-ons. Our software integrates the Translation Memory, allowing translators to edit translations directly within CargoWise One interface and review any suggestions of translations made by our users for acceptance.
